Students used magazines and created cut-up poems! They used ‘found language’ and images to create new meaning.

Lesson Note: Creative Artist guru Julia Cameron says the part of us who create art is about 7 years old. And so, it is no surprise that, with scissors in hand, even the most serious student finds themselves oddly enjoying this activity. ‘Language shapes our experiences,’ visual artist Adam Pendleton told the NY Times in 2018, ‘or it gives new shape… to the things we experience.’
