Community

In week eight of the residency, we wrote poems about the idea and experience of Community: what it means to us to be a part of a community, who is a part of our community, what do we need from our community. At school, at home, in our neighborhoods. This workshop was based on the incredible CPC poet Timothy Rey, and drew on one of his poems about the idea of community, and another poem by the great Chicago poet Gwendolyn Brooks as our inspiration.
