Kozminski students are from vibrant Chicago and have had their own unique experiences living in the city. This week, we took some pen to paper (and keyboard to Chromebook) to share some of our favorite things about the Windy City. Some of us said our favorite food spots like Harold’s or Portillo’s. Other students mentioned the memories they’ve made at The Bean. After brainstorming, I challenged students to describe things that remind them of our city using only two words in each line. Students did a great job searching for creative ways to write short lines about our very big city. Check out some words from our 4th-5th grade students below:
