Can you sense this?

The poets from the Logandale use senses to describe a scene in their first stanza. In the second stanza the poets were challenged to use the 5 senses in metaphorical ways. Enjoy!

Untitled by Felicia B.

i can see the decomposing animals
i can smell the rot of decomposing animals
i can hear the flies buzzing around the decomposing animals
i can taste the smell of rot of the decomposing animals
i can touch the fur of the fresh phase of the decomposing animals.

i see the deepness inside of you
i smell love in the air
i hear the call of the wild
i taste rainbow in my mouth
i can feel icy air

Untitled by Daniel N.

I see beautiful bananas.
I touch a banana to hold it.
I also eat other living things like fish. They are my favorite food to eat.
I smell all the bananas in my garden.
I hear the bananas fall from the tree.
I see the ugliness of fishes.
I touch the soul of the fish.
I taste the sadness of the fish.
I can feel the fear of the fish.
l can hear the hate of the fish

Untitled by Mikila G.

I see chicken at popeyes
I touched the raw chicken
I smelled the dry biscuit as soon as I walk in
I tasted the french fries and the mac and cheese
I hear people coughing from the dry biscuit

I see frustration in her eyes
I can touch the anger of the soil
I can smell them hating on me for pushing them
I can taste the sweat on her face
I can hear their sweat as they wipe it on their pants

Untitled by Orbelin V.

I can feel my pizza
I can smell my pizza
I can taste the pepperoni
I can hear people waiting in the line
I can see the color

I can taste the excitement at the fair
I can feel happiness at the mall
I can smell your madness
I can see their loneliness after I left
I can hear your nervousness

Untitled by Edwin C.

I see the leaves falling down.
I touched the sunflower seeds.
I smell the tree bark.
I taste the blueberries from the bush.
I hear branches breaking.

I can see the burst of happiness.
I can feel the pain in my heart.
I can smell the fear from far away.
I can taste the sadness.
I can hear the joy in her smile.

Everything in the City by Johnnel M.

I see the water dropping in the city
I touched the buildings in the city
I smell the cleaning supplies in the city
I taste the food in the city
I hear the cars in the city

I can see the clouds crying so hard in the sky
I can hear your sadness in you
I can feel the winter break
I can taste the rain coming
I can touch the rainbow
