Mrs. Asvos 7th Grade - 2nd Period
Their big manes rub the floor
they throw the females up in the air and
their twirls catch the wind
They march up and down
the ladies are dancing
Falling to the floor and
using the big fur
using their head as poms
They fall dramatically and
stand up and walk away
like a graceful gazelle
My brother
in a lion costume
dancing
on my couch
twirling, flipping, doing the splits
in a lion costume
my brother
my weird little brother
just being his weird little self
my brother in a lion costume
Sneaking up on a prey by dancing
and ducking when the prey looks
then they ran up the stairs then down
the stairs then up the walls and
the lion disguised himself in a picture
and continued to sneak on his prey then
he got tired of chasing it, got a gon
and shot it.
Chase the prey
be sneaky
try not to
make a sound
not even a squeaky
kill the prey
omg you don’t
look pretty
Mrs. Asvos 7th Grade - 3rd Period
I ran down the stairs
to what I saw amazed me
my horse, oh so stupid,
was playing the piano so well.
How could this be.
But when I saw the martini
I now understood.
He was a drunk musician.
Who plays that good.
The sound of the piano
was making me scared.
I realized I was about
to fall.
As I did, I ended up in
a mall.
They were staring at me
like I’m a type of joke.
But what’s so wrong?
I’m only a horse.
The horse was running on a hills up and down
and every time it touches the ground it turns
white and blacked and looked like the mustang logo.
The horse is going up and down hills and every
time it touches the ground it turns black and white like
a piano and it stops and looks at you like a human
