Animal Poems

This week at Clissold we started by asking the question if you could be any animal, what would you be and why? Our discussion was pretty lively, with a few students throwing in imaginary creatures, like unicorns! Some students picked multiples animals they felt reflected them and incorporated them all into their poems. Here are a few of this weeks pieces. Enjoy the poems!

Wolf Jeremiah

If I could be an animal
I would be a wolf
because I cold howl
I would be a wolf
because they eat people
I would be a dinosaur
because they can fight
I would want to be a dinosaur
that has a rock on it’s tail
It would be called Jeremiah the Rockster

Animal Poem Eden

If I could be any animal
I would be a tiger
I would be a tiger because
I was growling at my friend today
and being a tiger is fun.
I would be duck, why.
I will be a duck because I can swim and fly
and I can go deep in the water.
And I will be a bat
so I can hang upside down.
