Alliteration in Action!

The poets from Mrs. Gonzalez’s 7th grade class at Logandale Middle School have created tongue twisters using their name! This activity is an exercise in using alliteration.

Mrs. Gonzalez 302

Untitled by Noemi R.

Noemi’s nest was nesting in the new playground. Noemi was napping in her new apartment. Noemi’s favorite planet is Neptune.

Untitled by Isaiah R.

Isaiah is in Illinois imagining islands with iguanas. Like a iceberg in a ice boat immune to the ice, ice cream icy immune to the ice cream.

Untitled by Kevin G.

Kevin likes singing karaoke while eating kiwis.

Kevin could jump as high as a kangaroo looking for food.

King Kevin thinks he’s king, while watching a movie of kings,

when he is actually a lazy kid.

Mrs. Gonzalez 306

Untitled by Chaylan S.

Chaylan shapes up and shakes up

Untitled by Roger V.

Roger and Ruben were rowing in the rainforest.

Untitled by Michael M.

Michael Mittler makes many dollars when making motorcycles most of his time.

Mrs. Gonzalez 315

Untitled by Jayson G.

I ride around in a jeep with a pack of jellybeans

They fall over and land in my jello tub and more jellybeans fall

Jayson plays with jellybeans in the jello tub

jelly is cool

Jelly feels bouncy like jellybeans in a pack of jelly slime.

Untitled by Aneli H.

Tanner traveled to Texas in a truck with a trunk in the back there he sees a tarantula.

Untitled by Ivan S.

Ivan eats Ice cream when he is isolated in an igloo next to a frozen iguana.
