Ms. Shah 5th Grade
It makes me remember my grandpa
how he used to hold me as a baby.
It feels smooth like butter
as yellow as the sun.
It looks smooth like marbles.
My mom bought me a little cat.
Eyes like the ocean.
Fur like the color of a pumpkin with
white spots.
My son meows as I pick him up
and hisses when I carry him too much.
I love my son like stars.
Infinity.
Like a star cat.
As my son.
Sweater like a soft
blanket the kinds
you wear in cold
winter nights.
I feel the stitched
unicorn bumped and
a little ragged.
The sweater so gray,
gray like the fog on
big buildings.
Love the sweater
like my child loving
very much.
My own sweater.
