Mr. Maciasz 5th Grade Group 1
The ocean crashes and splashes.
The ocean is as old as the temperature
during the Ice Age.
The water crashing the shore
Crash, Swoosh.
The hot sand on my cold feet feels good.
The wind went Shhhhhh
The seagulls chirped as they flew
on the beach.
The cold soda can spilled everywhere.
The seagulls ate my chips crunch, crunch, crunch.
The sun is as hot as the Sahara Desert.
The palm trees swooshed as the wind passed.
As the rain fell through the car window.
I quickly woke up from a nap Zzzzz
I accidently roll down the window.
I became wetter and madder
than a cat in a tub.
Splash, my mom was mad
at me, and told me to roll
up the window.
Bam! we ran over a pothole.
Wow! that was scary.
I love that sound when I go
to gamble and it’s a winner.
But then my time gets thinner
and the coin falls like Kaching
then I pull the lever, and I hear
Cling.
But then I realize its trolling.
So, I go again, again, again,
and again, but it’s not over
until I win.

You can find the wind outside
when you play.
The wind goes WHOOSH and WHIRR
You can’t see it, but it’s there.
The wind is like someone trying
to push you.
The wind can be as strong as an ox.
The wind can whistle and howl
and pop and yell.
But, if it does too much you can
just go inside.
These are the sounds of the wind.
Cardinal sounds
can be high or low,
they sound like
whistles with Shh’s.
You can hear them
outside in the park
or on a walk.
You can find them
inside on the phone,
or on YouTube.
They sound like a
melody being whistled
over and over again.
The dog yawns and woofs to be let outside.
It zooms through the calm field.
It uses its nose to sniff out anything.
The dog loves to get pet, but don’t
get too close to their soft spots
or else say goodbye to your thumbs.
The dog runs towards the splashing
water and the whistle of the nature.
Ms. Respress 5th Grade Group 3
The first thing you need to make slime is glue.
When you pour the glue, its sound is Plop!
Then when you put in the activator,
the sound is Splash!
After that you mix all that up.
Finally, you can put color in the slime.
And then the very last part, is making
a big bubble, and then it will just POP!
The thunder makes the sound BOOM!
Thunder sounds like a leprechaun jumping
up and down after he finds gold under
a rainbow.
The season, thunder is mostly in Spring.
Where all the rain and flowers come out.
BOOM!
Some animals in Spring survive with storms,
like worms, snails, or groundhogs.
Zip!
First, put drip dropping
cold water.
Second, cold milk.
YUMMY.
Drip Drop.
Third, Flour and eggs.
Fourth, pancake powder.
SHK SHK SHK.
Ms. Bell 5th Grade Group 4
Rain drops, falls,
splash, rain hits
windows, swish.
Rain falls on umbrella,
Pop,
lightening,
Boom, Hiss.
Hits a tree, Clap.
Rain stops; sun comes up.
In the Summer the trees go,
Woosh, and birds go into them
and say Chirp.
Then the rain on the tree go
wish woosh,
and squirrels scampering.
Sizzle, Sizzle, the fire runs down.
It’s do hot, the ground turns brown.
The timer ticks, the bomb gets hotter.
3, 2, 1 . . . Kablam!
The ground is dark and on fire.
Never doing that again!
