D ROSEN is a sculptor and writer based on the stolen lands of the Council of the Three Fires, known as Chicago, IL. They exhibit and publish internationally, focusing on nonhuman animals through interspecies engagement, care work, and artistic practice. Rosen challenges anthropocentric epistemologies of the animal and offers sculptures as gestures, ritualized and sharp, toward unsettling harmful hierarchies of the animal while advocating for multispecies coalition-building.
Maggie Queeney is a writer, artist, and educator. She lives and works in Chicago, where she was born. She is the author of In Kind, winner of the Iowa Poetry Prize, forthcoming in 2023, and settler (Tupelo Press). She is recipient of the Stanley Kunitz Memorial Prize, the Ruth Stone Scholarship, and two IAP Grants from the City of Chicago. Her poems, stories, and hybrid works have been published widely. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Syracuse University.
