Poets in Residence
These are paid roles at CPC and hiring calls will be posted with pay and employment details when open. We typically do one call for teaching artists (Poets in Residence) each year, over the summer. Follow our socials and newsletter to receive updates.
Board of Directors
This is a volunteer role supporting the governance, fundraising, and strategic direction of the organization. The Chicago Poetry Center typically posts an open board member call each spring, but this is dependent on membership capacity. Follow our socials and newsletter to receive updates.
Volunteer & Ambassador Roles
Sometimes we need folks to flyer as a street team, or do events work like check in, ushering, set up, tear down, and clean up. If you’re interested in volunteering with CPC in one of these capacities, let us know at info@poetrycenter.org.
