Calvin Forbes

Calvin is a poet and educator. His poem “Momma Said” was recorded by Branford Malsalis and Kurt Elling. His collections of poems, Blue Monday, From the Book of Shine, and The Shine Poems. He is a Professor Emeritus at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
