Carrying Tunes

Today was a fun musical filled day with Sabin’s Poetry Camp. We started the day with a warm-up of “Why Are You Late To Work?,” a game that is quickly becoming a favorite in our classroom. After spending some time talking about luck to celebrate 7/7 and making bracelets with Ms. Ola, we talked about some of our favorite songs and read “Change Your Tune (Blow Your Own Trumpet)” by Mark Bird together. We had a brief dance party where students got to show off some moves to Katseye before writing some music poems of our own. Afterward, we made music player bookmarks. Check out some words below:
