Franz Wright was born in Vienna in 1953 and grew up in the Northwest, the Midwest, and northern California. His most recent works include Walking to Martha's Vineyard, which received the 2004 Pulitzer Prize. He works at the Edinburg Center for Mental Health and the Center For Grieving Children & Teenagers, and lives in Waltham, Massachusetts with his wife Elizabeth.

Tony Fitzpatrick is an actor, a poet, a radio talk-show host and a visual artist with a gift for imagery and detailed drawing in both small and large formats. He lives and works in Chicago.
