James Tate
Shiloh
James Tate is the author of fourteen books of poetry, including Selected Poems, for which he received the Pulitzer Prize and the William Carlos Williams Award. His volume of poems Worshipful Company of Fletchers was awarded the National Book Award. In 1995 the Academy of American Poets awarded him with the Tanning Prize. His honors include fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts, the Wallace Stevens Award, and a National Institute of Arts and Letters Award for Poetry.
