Mark Perlberg
The Box of Clouds
Mark Perlberg is the author of three books of poems: The Burning Field, The Feel of the Sun: Poems, and The Impossible Toystore. Perlberg is past president and one of the founders of The Poetry Center of Chicago, and for nearly 30 years he has worked to bring outstanding poets to read in Chicago and to build the city's audience for poetry. Perlberg's poems have appeared in many journals, including The New Yorker and Poetry. He teaches at Chicago's Newberry Library.
