My Grandpa's House in Puerto Rico
a poem by Marisol Feliciano, Grade 12

The hills and the wind
blowing toward the leaves
on the tall trees with birds
chirping as they pass down the
road of the hill laying there as
the sun shines and the flowers grow
beautiful and almost as big as the
tree. I look down hill
and see the sea and my reflection
glowing.
