Hands On Stanzas, live at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra!

We could not be more excited about our collaboration with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra! This March, a few of our students will be performing their original poetry live on stage with Members of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra!

A little background–Camille Saint-Saëns’ popular Carnival of the Animals musical suite has often been accompanied by poems. And this year, Hands On Stanzas students are writing brand new poems for each movement.

Stay tuned as our poets teach the lesson and blog about it, as the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Poetry Center of Chicago publish some of the very best pieces, and for the grand finale, of course!
